Morocco had taken an early lead with first-half goals from Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy, but the Nigerian side rallied back in the second half to claim the continental title.

Nigeria’s comeback win over Morocco in the 2024 WAFCON final was sealed with goals from Esther Okoronkwo, Folashade Ijamilusi, and Jennifer Echegini, securing a 3-2 victory at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
