Popular Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has urged single women to prioritize self-development and establish their own independence before seeking a wealthy and caring partner.

The advice came as he responded to the online praise for Odogwu, a billionaire lover he portrayed in the movie Love In Every World 2, with many social media users calling the character their “ideal man.”

Arukwe highlighted that the character Chioma, played by Bambam, was already a valuable and industrious woman before the billionaire began supporting her. He emphasized that Odogwu did not need to question what she brought to the relationship because her contributions were evident.

He encouraged women to first build their own worth, assuring that men of value will naturally recognize and appreciate them.

On his X handle, Arukwe wrote:
“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”
