The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed predictions by Prof. Udenta Udenta that the party would collapse before the 2027 general elections.
In a statement on Wednesday, APC’s state spokesman, Seye Oladejo, described Udenta’s claims as “theatrics, cheap, and empty talk.”

Udenta, founding National Secretary of the Alliance for Democracy, made the prediction during a television interview on Tuesday.
Responding, Oladejo emphasized that the party is growing stronger each day rather than weakening.
“Forecasting a party’s demise from a studio chair does not make it true,” he said. “Prof. Udenta’s claims were heavy on rhetoric but lacked evidence. We invite him to visit our structures, where millions of Nigerians are actively organizing, volunteering, and committing to progressive governance.”
