Nigeria’s sprint sensation, Tobi Amusan, has bagged the silver medal in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Tokyo 2025 World Championships.

The 28-year-old stormed to a remarkable 12.29 seconds in Monday’s final, cementing her place on the podium. Earlier in the day, she had comfortably won her semifinal race with a time of 12.36 seconds to qualify for the showdown.
Amusan crossed the line ahead of the Netherlands’ Nadine Visser and Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska, who settled for third and fourth positions respectively.
