Benue Speaker Distributes Official Vehicles to Lawmakers, Clerk
The Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Hyacinth Dajoh, has presented official vehicles to several members of the 10th Assembly, as well as to the Clerk of the House, John Hwande, to aid the effective discharge of their legislative duties.
A statement issued on Saturday by the Speaker’s Chief Press Secretary, Terver Zamber, noted that the move was part of efforts to address the logistical challenges faced by some lawmakers who had not received official vehicles since the Assembly’s inauguration.

Beneficiaries of the vehicles include Douglas Akya, Anyor Matu, Peter Uche, Abu Edo, Abu Umoru, and Ezra Nyiyongu.
Zamber disclosed that the lawmakers expressed gratitude to the Speaker for prioritizing their welfare and providing the tools necessary to strengthen their legislative work.
He added that the beneficiaries also pledged their loyalty and cooperation to Speaker Dajoh’s leadership, reaffirming their commitment to working collectively to advance the Assembly’s goals.
