The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State, Mr. Adamu Ninga, has expressed confidence that the party will come out stronger and more united after its forthcoming national convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, from November 15 to 16.
Ninga stated this on Wednesday in Lafia while addressing journalists after an expanded meeting of the State Executive Council of the party.
Describing the convention as a major milestone, the PDP chairman said it would offer an opportunity to strengthen internal cohesion and reposition the party for victory ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“We are more united and determined than ever to reclaim our rightful place in Nigerian politics, especially here in Nasarawa State,” Ninga said.
He added that the convention would serve as a platform to resolve internal disagreements and chart a new direction for the PDP, assuring that his leadership would ensure a level playing field for all members, particularly those aspiring for elective positions in 2027.
