PDP Shifts NEC Meeting as Defections Surge

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed its 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, which was earlier scheduled to hold on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

The postponement was announced in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, on Monday.

According to the statement, the decision was taken by the National Working Committee (NWC) during an emergency meeting convened to address recent developments within the party.

Ologunagba explained that the postponement was approved in accordance with Section 29 (2)(b) of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017).

He added that a new date for the NEC meeting will be communicated to members in due course, urging all NEC members to take note of the development and await further directives.
