Operatives stormed several notorious locations, including Massallacin Idi, Fagge Plaza, Kofar Mata, Kofar Wambai, Kofar Dan’agundi, Makabartar Dan’agundi, Ladanai, Zage, and Tashar Rimi at Rimi Market. Kano Line Motor Park and Tashar Rami Motor Park in Na’ibawa were also raided, with more than 15 suspects arrested there alone.

According to the NDLEA, the crackdown is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle drug joints and halt the activities of known dealers in the state.

“Since the elevation of the NDLEA’s operations to a strategic command level, there has been a notable increase in the effectiveness and scope of our efforts to combat drug-related crimes,” the agency stated.

The Commander, ACGN A. I. Ahmad, commended the support of the agency’s Chairman and CEO, Brig Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa, noting that his commitment to a drug-free society has strengthened their resolve.

The NDLEA warned those engaged in drug crimes to desist, stressing that investigations are ongoing to ensure all suspects face justice.
