“My Wife Will Kill Me” — Davido Turns Down Fan’s Instagram Request on Tour
Afrobeats superstar Davido sparked laughter during a recent stop on his 5ive Tour in the United States after a bold request from a female fan.
In a now-viral video circulating on social media, a woman—clad in a revealing outfit—asked the singer if he could follow her on Instagram. Davido, however, quickly shut down the request in humorous fashion.
“No, my wife will kill me,” he responded, smiling. “I can’t follow anyone. I only follow my wife.”
His reply drew cheers and laughter from the crowd, with many applauding his loyalty to his wife, Chioma Rowland.
The interaction comes shortly after Davido and Chioma tied the knot in June 2024 during a lavish ceremony in Lagos, solidifying their long-standing relationship.
Fans have since praised the artist not only for his performance but also for publicly reaffirming his commitment to his partner.
