Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralized a Boko Haram scout during an ambush at Kolori Karumi, near the Alau Dam in Borno State.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the development in a Friday update, noting that the operation was carried out on September 22 under the ongoing Operation Desert Sanity IV.
According to Makama, the troops — working in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hybrid Forces — intercepted the insurgent while he was conducting surveillance in the area. The swift action, he added, thwarted possible plans by Boko Haram to stage fresh attacks.
