Lizzy Gold Opens Up on Two-Year Feud with Destiny Etiko
Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has revealed details about her longstanding rift with fellow actress Destiny Etiko, which she said was fueled by gossip within the movie industry.
In a recent Instagram post, Gold disclosed that she and Etiko stopped speaking for two years after false narratives were spread about her through industry gossip.

Despite the fallout, Gold praised Etiko for her sociable nature, describing her as the only person in Nollywood who truly understands her. She also sent a message to rumour mongers, stressing that she has become immune to negativity and urging Etiko never to let outsiders come between them again.
“Two years ago we separated as friends because of ‘them say’ in Nollywood. I became lonely because I don’t make friends easily like you do. Thank God you realized you were deceived and came back,” Gold wrote.
