Kwara Govt Launches Daily Troubleshooting Sessions for Salary, Pension Issues
To resolve outstanding salary and pension complaints, the Kwara State Government will hold daily troubleshooting sessions across all 16 local government areas from Thursday, July 31 to Monday, August 4, 2025 (excluding Sunday, August 3).
Civil servants and pensioners are urged to appear in person with their BVN, NIN, KWSRRA and PSN numbers, bank statements, employment letters, ID cards, and any other relevant documents.
The initiative, announced by Finance Commissioner Dr. Hauwa Nuru in Ilorin, aims to fast-track solutions to lingering payment concerns.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Finance, cabinet members and key technocrats from MDAs will spearhead the troubleshooting sessions across all local governments.
Finance Commissioner Dr. Hauwa Nuru acknowledged that while most workers and pensioners are being paid without issues, some isolated cases remain unresolved.
“This effort is to settle all lingering complaints once and for all,” said ministry spokesperson Babatunde Toyin Abdul Rasheed, reaffirming Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s stance that every worker and retiree deserves timely pay.
