Kano Assembly clears ₦215.3bn budget boost
The Kano State House of Assembly has given its nod to a supplementary budget of ₦215.3 billion following a request from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Presiding over the plenary session, Speaker Jibril Ismail Falgore announced that the approval came after extensive deliberations and a thorough review of the proposal by lawmakers.

In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, the Speaker confirmed that the exact figure approved was ₦215,378,374,543.62.
He further emphasized that the Assembly would maintain strict oversight on ministries and agencies to ensure transparent and accountable use of the funds.
