At least three farmers were injured on Monday evening following an attack by suspected herders in Pyekman village, Tafawa-Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

The victims—58-year-old Esther Amos, 37-year-old Naomi Sabo, and 16-year-old Emmanuel Manasseh—were said to have been attacked while working on their farm. They sustained various degrees of injuries and were taken to the General Hospital in Tafawa-Balewa, where they are currently receiving treatment.
Reacting to the incident, the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police deployed tactical units including Operation Restore Peace (ORP), the Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU), the Rapid Response Squad (RSS), and nearby divisional teams to stabilize the area and restore calm.
