Gunmen Attack Kano Community, Kill One, Abduct Two Women
Armed men struck Kwanar Dangora community in Kiru Local Government Area of Kano State in the early hours of Friday, killing one person and abducting two women.
The attackers, who reportedly arrived around 12:30 a.m., targeted the home of Alhaji Ibrahim, whisking away his wives, Safara’u Ibrahim and Atine Ibrahim.

During the raid, a 27-year-old resident, Abdul Usman, was shot dead. His body has since been handed over to his family for burial.
Security operatives have opened investigations and say efforts are ongoing to rescue the kidnapped victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.
