The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed the arrest of 52 suspects during late-night raids on suspected criminal hideouts and abandoned buildings across Abuja.
The coordinated operation, which began around 11:45 p.m. on September 14, involved officers drawn from divisions in Nyanya, Maitama, Gwagwa, Dawaki, Gwarinpa, Asokoro, Karu, Jikwoyi, Mpape, Lokogoma, and Utako.

According to security sources, substances believed to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs were recovered during the raids.
All the suspects are currently being profiled and interrogated at divisional headquarters. Police authorities said that anyone found culpable after investigations will be charged to court.
