Fabian Adibe, Nollywood Legend, Dies at 82
Veteran Nollywood actor Fabian Adibe has passed away at the age of 82.
The news of his death was confirmed on Wednesday by Seun Oloketuyi, Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON), who announced via social media that the actor died at 2:30 a.m.

Adibe, widely celebrated for his remarkable performance in the screen adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart, enjoyed a long career in Nollywood, featuring in numerous classics that left a lasting mark on the industry.
His passing has sparked an outpouring of grief across Nigeria’s entertainment community, with fans, colleagues, and admirers paying tribute to him as a “true legend” of the screen. Many have shared heartfelt messages honoring his legacy and praying for the repose of his soul.
