Head Coach Eric Chelle has unveiled the final 23-man squad for the Super Eagles B team ahead of the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN), set to take place from August 2 to 30, 2025, across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
The roster includes captain Junior Harrison Nduka, alongside notable names like defender Sikiru Alimi and striker Godwin Obaje. Goalkeeper Henry Ozoemena Ani, defenders Sodiq Ismaila and Stephen Mayo Egbe, midfielders Hadi Haruna and Alex Oyowah, and forwards Anas Yusuf, Ijoma Anthony, and Sikiru Alimi also made the cut.
Having trained for weeks at the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, the team is scheduled to depart Nigeria for Zanzibar on Thursday evening via Ethiopian Airlines.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has arranged a second-phase training camp in Zanzibar from July 25 to 31. During that period, the CHAN 2018 silver medallists will play two international friendlies against the Zanzibar senior national team on July 28 and 31, aimed at sharpening their form ahead of the tournament.

According to the NFF, preparations for the friendlies are complete and the matches will be key to final tournament readiness.
Nigeria, who also finished third in the 2014 edition, have been drawn in Group D of the 19-team championship. They will face defending champions Senegal, as well as Sudan and Congo, in the group stage.
The Super Eagles B will open their 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) campaign with group matches against Senegal and Sudan at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar, before wrapping up the group stage against Congo at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
