CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso to Lead Nigeria’s Delegation to World Bank/IMF Meetings
The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Olayemi Cardoso, will lead Nigeria’s delegation to the annual meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C., United States.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to the statement, Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, who would typically head the delegation, is indisposed, prompting Cardoso to step in to lead Nigeria’s team at the global financial gathering.
