Tinubu Arrives Brazil for Two-Day State Visit
President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Brasília, Brazil for a two-day state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between both countries.
The presidential aircraft touched down at Brasília International Airport around 12:30 a.m. local time (4:30 a.m. Nigerian time).

He was received by Carlos José Moreno Garcete, Brazil’s Secretary for Africa and the Middle East, alongside the Brazilian Ambassador to Nigeria and top Nigerian officials, including the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
During the visit, Tinubu is expected to meet with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Planalto Palace on Monday. Both leaders will witness the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and later address a joint press conference.
Key discussions will center on agriculture, energy transition, regional security, and other areas of mutual strategic interest between Nigeria and Brazil.
