Mothers in Jato-Aka, Turan District of Kwande Local Government Area, Benue State, staged a protest on Wednesday over the alleged killing of children by soldiers.
Clad in black, the women marched through the community, chanting sorrowful songs and demanding justice for the victims.
The protesters accused the military of inflicting violence on defenseless residents, including minors, and warned that the community could not continue to endure such attacks.

They called on both the Benue State Government and the Federal Government to take immediate action to halt further bloodshed and restore peace in the troubled area.
