APC Will Retake Osun in 2026, Says Oyetola

Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will return to power in Osun State during the 2026 governorship election.

Oyetola gave the assurance on Monday at a special prayer session held in his hometown, Iragbiji, to mark his 71st birthday.

The former Osun governor commended APC members across the state for their loyalty and steadfastness, describing the prevailing peace and cohesion within the party as its biggest strength ahead of the next election cycle.

“We are committed and fully prepared to return our great party, the APC, to government in Osun come 2026,” Oyetola declared.

He urged party leaders and members to remain focused, united, and consistent, stressing that the APC’s past achievements demonstrated its capacity to deliver on promises.

Oyetola also expressed gratitude to his supporters and the organisers of the prayer session, noting that their gesture was both symbolic and deeply appreciated.

Reiterating his optimism, the minister said the party’s resilience and collective resolve would guarantee victory in 2026.
