The African Democratic Congress (ADC) faction led by Hon. Nafiu Bala has affirmed its commitment to restoring the party’s integrity and reputation.
In a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja, Bala criticized certain politicians who have reportedly infiltrated the ADC, insisting that such individuals have no legitimate place in the party.
He noted that these intruders are presenting themselves as party leaders without having fulfilled the necessary requirements to join a political organization. According to Bala, their actions have introduced disruptive elements that have unsettled the party’s previously peaceful structure—a party many Nigerians expect to lead the opposition in 2027.

“We are working tirelessly to restore the party’s glory, which was undermined by political opportunists who slipped in through the back door,” Bala said.
He added that these individuals are creating confusion among members and attempting to impose leadership that is not recognized by the party’s core members.
“We want to stress that anyone presenting themselves as ADC members without proper registration should immediately stop interfering with the party’s structure,” Bala warned.
He further advised that anyone seeking to join the ADC must adhere to the party’s rules, starting with proper registration at the ward level.
