The Action Alliance (AA) has denied any connection with a group in Ondo State campaigning for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released by the party’s state chairman, Abdullah Olowokere, AA clarified that the Progressive Network for Tinubu (PNT) has no ties to the party at either the state or national level.
Olowokere criticised the promoters of the PNT, stressing that under the leadership of its national chairman, Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, the Action Alliance remains independent and free from external influence.
He dismissed claims that the party was part of any agreement allegedly brokered by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, describing remarks made by the Ondo APC chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, as misleading.

“The party is not entering into any alliances with pro-Tinubu campaign organisations, including the PNT or any other support group,” Olowokere said. “Under Omoaje’s leadership, Action Alliance is focused, determined, and pragmatic.”
He further warned that individuals parading themselves as AA representatives at meetings or forums are impostors, urging the Minister of Interior and APC leadership in Ondo State to properly verify the identity of anyone claiming to speak for the party.
According to him, the only recognised leadership of AA in Ondo State is under his authority, while any potential alliances must originate from the National Executive Council led by Dr. Omoaje.
Olowokere also advised both the APC and the Presidency to be cautious of political impersonators, insisting that the Action Alliance was not part of any pro-Tinubu mobilisation effort in the state.
