Kano — Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State is alleging plots by the presidency to stage a political war against him over his remarks that President Goodluck Jonathan lacks guts and the capacity to put the country on the right track.
Kwankwaso had weeks ago tongue – lashed President Jonathan and pontificated that his budgetary allocations to regions in the country is skewed in favour of the South-South.
In a swift reaction, however, political aide to the President, Ahmed Gulak said Kwankwaso required psychiatric attention.
An aide to Kwankwaso, Malam Ahmed Shua’aibu Gara told Weekly Trust that they have unraveled plots by the presidency to stage a political war against Kwankwaso.
“We are aware that people around the presidency are oiling their guns and strategizing for serious political battle with Kwankwaso. We are ready for them and it is going to be an eye for an eye. Henceforth, any single insult on Kwankwaso will be responded in same manner,” he said.
