No ransom demands have been made so far. Witnesses reported seeing military personnel with two suspects, though it remains unclear if they were part of the kidnappers.

In response, the Kwara State Government urged residents in Ekiti, Ifelodun, Isin, Oke Ero, and Irepodun Local Government Areas to remain vigilant and limit outdoor activities as security forces intensify operations against kidnappers in border towns between Kwara and Kogi states.
