Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has announced that over 2,000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Maigatari Local Government Area.
Speaking during a weekly citizens’ engagement forum in Maigatari, Namadi said the mass defection would help consolidate APC’s strength across the state.
