Enyimba International FC has confirmed the exit of 22 senior team players ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season, with three others sent out on loan.
The announcement, made via the club’s official page on Monday, is part of a major squad overhaul as the Aba giants prepare for the new campaign, which begins on August 22.

Among those released are Brown Ideye, Ani Ozoemenam, Musa Babalola, Innocent Gabriel, and Fatai Abdulahi. Others include Umeh Gozie, Alade Balogun, Imo Ikemdinachi, and Leonard Obinna.
Players sent on loan are Obichere Odinaka, Purpose Ahumaraezemma, and Samuel Nuako.
In its statement, the club — former CAF Champions League winners — thanked the departing players for their service and wished them success in their future careers.
Enyimba will open their 2025/26 NPFL season with an away clash against newcomers Barau FC, before hosting Niger Tornadoes and Nasarawa United in back-to-back home fixtures.
