Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has revealed that she has frozen her eggs as a safeguard for the future, in case she decides to have more children.
Speaking in a frank interview with media personality Zeze Mills, the 42-year-old mother of one admitted she wished she had taken the step much earlier in her life. Savage encouraged women in their 30s to consider egg freezing as a way to take control of their reproductive choices.

Reflecting on her own experience, she said having her first child in her 30s was a positive decision, as she was more financially and emotionally prepared.
“One piece of advice I’d give women in their 30s is this — whether you plan to have kids or not, freeze your eggs,” she said. “I wish I’d done it sooner. I’m not sure if I want more children, but this gives me that insurance. You never know — you could wake up at 36 to find your egg reserve is gone, and that’s when you suddenly decide to have kids.”
Savage described herself as a “big advocate” of the procedure, stressing that it offers women the freedom to make family decisions on their own terms.
