BBNaija: Kola Opens Up About Attraction to Dede, She Sets Boundaries

Big Brother Naija 10/10 housemate, Kola, has confessed his attraction to fellow housemate Dede but admitted he isn’t ready to say he has feelings for her—at least not yet.

In a private conversation, Kola told Dede, “You’re actually my type. That’s why I wanted to get to know you, talk to you, and everything. I won’t pretend—I’m definitely attracted to you. It’s just Day 4, so I can’t say I like you yet, but I do know you’re someone I want to keep getting to know.”

However, Dede appeared distracted during the conversation, leading Kola to suggest she might be emotionally involved with another housemate, Jason Jae. Dede firmly denied any romantic link, insisting her bond with Jason is purely platonic.

She went on to make her stance clear—she’s in a committed relationship outside the house and has no intention of pursuing anything romantic while in Biggie’s house.

“I’m in a very serious, committed relationship outside the house,” Dede told Kola. “So if you’re saying, ‘I respect that and I just want to be your friend,’ that’s totally fine. But if it ever turns into, ‘I need more, I need reciprocation,’ that’s where it stops. That will not happen, by God’s grace.”

Dede’s comments drew a firm boundary, signaling that while friendships are welcome, romantic advances will not be entertained—no matter how strong the connection may seem.
