Tinubu Reveals Bold Plans for New APC HQ

President Bola Tinubu has announced a new initiative to construct a modern national headquarters for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.

Speaking at the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held Thursday at the State House Conference Centre, Tinubu directed the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), the Progressive Governors’ Forum, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to collaborate on the development.

Speaking during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Thursday at the State House Conference Centre, Tinubu tasked the APC National Working Committee (NWC), the Progressive Governors’ Forum, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, with jointly overseeing the project.

“We will identify a suitable plot of land to construct a dignified and modern secretariat,” Tinubu said.

He further instructed that a dedicated committee be formed to select an ideal site and manage the entire construction process.

Currently, the APC operates from its headquarters at 40 Blantyre Crescent in Wuse 2, Abuja.

During the same meeting, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda was officially sworn in as the party’s new National Chairman. His nomination came from Governor Hope Uzodimma and was seconded by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen. Yilwatda is a former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and previously contested for the governorship of Plateau State under the APC.
