CIPM Ogun State Deepens Collaboration with Ogun Head of Service on Human Resource Development

CIPM Ogun State Visits Head of Service, Deepens Commitment to HR Excellence. The Ogun State Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), led by Chairperson Mrs. Oladunni Adetona, MCIPM, paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, on July 2, 2025. The meeting, held in Abeokuta, focused on strengthening partnerships to advance human resource development across the state’s civil service.

Mrs. Adetona thanked Mr. Onasanya for his steadfast support, citing his keynote address at a past conference, his role in enabling civil servants’ participation at the CIPM International Conference in Abuja, and his assistance in securing land for the Institute in Ogun State.

During the visit, she formally invited Mr. Onasanya to return as keynote speaker for the 11th Annual CIPM Ogun State Conference, scheduled for September 2–4, 2025, at the Oba’s Complex, Oke Mosan, and online.

In response, Mr. Onasanya appreciated his recent Award of Excellence from the Institute and praised CIPM’s globally recognized certification. He pledged ongoing collaboration with the branch to build a stronger, better-equipped public workforce in Ogun State.

CIPM Council Member Commends Ogun HoS for Transformational Leadership

Engr. Sean Olabode Badiru, MCIPM—Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and immediate past Chairman of the Ogun State Branch—commended the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, for his transformational leadership within the state’s civil service. He also praised Mr. Onasanya’s consistent support and dedication to the growth and visibility of the Institute in Ogun State.

Dr. Peter Ogunkunle, FCIPM, also extended his appreciation to the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, for his warm hospitality, affirming the branch’s commitment to fostering a productive and enduring partnership with the Office of the Head of Service.

The CIPM delegation included Mr. Olanrewaju Oke, ACIPM (General Secretary); Mr. Adewale Gbadebo, ACIPM (Ex-Officio 2); Mr. Abubakar Adeduntan (Past Branch Chairman); and Mrs. Azizah Alogba-Odusanya (Vice Chairman, Oke-Mosan Chapter).

The visit underscored CIPM Ogun State Branch’s ongoing dedication to building strategic alliances aimed at advancing the human resource profession and improving public service delivery across the state.
